Everyone has the right to work safely, and that includes window cleaners. For decades, work at height was simply accepted as an occupational hazard of the window cleaning industry. We have invested in Ionics’s Reach & Wash® system which allows windows to be cleaned from the safety of the ground using long reaching, telescopic poles. A soft bristled brush is used to scrub the dirt off the glass, while jets of pure water rinse the window. The pure water, as it has no impurities, dries to a spot-free finish leaving no marks behind.
Using pure water requires no detergent, which is better for the environment and leaves windows cleaner as there is no detergent residue for dirt to cling to. Frames and sills are cleaned at the same time as your glass and won’t be damaged by having a ladder leaning on them.
No, it’s pure water so it’s less harmful to your property than rainwater.
On your first clean we do spray a degreasing agent on to the window as a lot of windows have not been cleaned for some time and need a longer first clean. When cleaning inside or conservatory roofs we use a small amount of specialist biodegradable window cleaning detergent.
